Museum of Fine Arts of Bordeaux

This database is a window open to all on the 8,200 works currently conserved in the museum. This rich collection, which was created at the beginning of the 19th century, has been growing regularly thanks to purchases, donations, bequests and deposits of works.
The diversity of these acquisitions allows the museum to offer a broad artistic panorama and to illustrate all historical periods, from the 15th to the 20th century. This diversity is reflected in the exhibition rooms, as well as in this database.
